hello everyone! i hope you had a wonderful weekend. the bova clan had a really fun weekend complete with a riverdogs baseball game,

and a trip to the beach that ended with dinner at taco boy. yum!

today i want to share with you one final question for terry haas that didn't make it into the last post. it's a great question so i wanted to be sure and post it today.

   My husband and I are getting our 121 year old home in an Historic District ready to put on the market. Do you have any suggestions on the best way to market an older home to the right potential buyer?

Terry's Answer:

You have to get to people who are looking for that niche. Not everyone wants to take on what could be a lot of work. You need to get to the neighbors, social networks, local business owners etc. Great networking opportunity at local events. Hand out fliers/business cards with info to everyone you know. Chamber, or town groups.

Offer Open Houses but call them “historic home tour” if in fact your home is classified as such.

The more people who know about it, will help spread the word.

It will most likely be someone who falls in love with the concept.
